Jason Pliska

Jason is a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School from Swiftwater, PA. As a baritone player, Jason had the honor of being a member of 3 first place Atlantic Coast Championships in group 4 and one runner up trophy, his freshman year. Jason was also a member of 3 high brass winning horn lines. Also, Jason played trombone in the top Pocono Mountain jazz band.
Upon graduation, Jason enrolled at Penn State University and subsequently received a degree in Sociology in 2004. In the summer of 2005, Jason enrolled in Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, NJ. Jason has served as a clinician and judge for over 200 marching bands in the northeast as a member of the National Judges Association, since 2003. At age 23, he has already judged contests in six states at the local, regional and ACC championship levels.
Jason was proud to serve as visual coordinator for the East Pennsboro marching band in 2004-05 and helped the team achieve their first top 10 finish in ACC competition. He has continued on for the 2005-06 season and has also instructed the East Pennsboro Indoor Colorguard, the Carolina Gold Senior Drum and Bugle Corps (2004), and will be working with the Central Bucks West Indoor Percussion this Winter, and the Hawthorne Caballeros Senior Drum and Bugle Corps in the Summer of 2006.
