Jolene graduated from Northern York High School in
Dillsburg, PA, where she played French horn in the concert band, sang in the
choir, and played mellophone in the marching band where she served as Band
President, was President of SADD, and editor of the school newspaper, "The
N."
After graduating, she pursued and received a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Political Science & Public Policy from West Chester University.
While in college Jolene was instrumental in the development and growth of the
university’s Habitat
for Humanity Campus Chapter, including two years as President where
she organized the first co-sponsoring of a house with several other schools, as
well as planning and executing the first ever fully student run Collegiate
Challenge trip to Florida.
During her senior year of college, Jolene applied for
the highly coveted Ambassadorial Scholarship from Rotary International and,
after a series of interviews, was given the award to study for one year at The University of Sydney
in Australia, where received her Master’s Degree.
